In US news and current events of national and international importance, Walmart removes violent video game displays from their stores but still carries guns and ammunition. After the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton some have pointed to violent video games as part of the problem. Walmart video games of a violent nature are no longer being displayed, but Walmart guns are still on sale. At Walmart, violent video games are still readily available for purchase but not on display.
